They were, but that was a bug that got fixed yesterday. It probably had to do with how Fusion Cores now stack in your inventory. If only I would have known earlier.

They honestly should drop rank mods. just like randomly. that would be quite cool.

That's actually how it used to work. For some reason people were against that and are okay with spending millions of credits and farming hundreds of cores to level up mods from Rank 0.

wat
giving ranks to mods means a bigger variety of things that drop
literally the only problematic thing is that you can't "derank" a mod

it's just annoying that the optimal/only way to play this game without money is to sit in Recruiting chat and just mooch off other Void Keys until you get a bunch of prime stuff to trade in Trading for Plat, then use the Plat to buy Slots

Warframe: Ninjas play free to whore out

Warframe: Ninjas decimate entire rooms with time-altering ground stomps that turn the battlefield into a Michael Bay movie and highly-contained supernova reactions.
Brakk just finished
Hornet Strike maxed
Zephyr and Frost Prime building
meh
Steps closer to leaving what this game has behind.

overall mission layout combat balance story endgame crafting/credits mod system(/credits) farming/grinding/drops

Don't forget movement/parkour
Everything feels like it's still in Alpha stage and I don't see how people don't realize that.
Like everything is barely taken past the drawing board levels of unfinished, yet 75% of the people who play the game just say "it's a beta give them time :)". It's kind of astounding. Like the game would be awesome if every one of those aspects were fleshed out. It's "throw darts at a dartboard and see what happens" taken to the next level.
At this rate the game will never be finished because instead of being able to sit down and review the game thoroughly piece by piece, they have to keep pumping out more content to meet that quick profit. The moment they announced that stat helmets were being removed from the game instead of just making the stats a separate equippable item was when that became clear to me. The latter makes far more sense, and people have been asking for it for months. Yet they need to make quick money off plat sales as people scramble for stat helmets. Not to mention that putting stat equippables on the market would probably earn them more money in the long run. So something weird is happening here.

Yeah for some reason Harvey doesn't like to spawn very often for me. I swear that after every major update they drop the encounter chance for the assassin minibosses, if they introduced one the patch before. Thankfully I got the Detron within about two weeks of the Harvester being released, though I don't use it very often. Brakk took forever though. I've only ever gotten one Despair and one Hate from the Stalker too so if other peoples' stories are taken into account, I guess I'm fairly lucky.

there can be problems with the game but i expect at least 1 or 2 areas to be fleshed out effectively

Oh shit
You can sell helmets now
And because I find Trinity kinda really boring,
I can sell my old Aura helmet for loads of plat. Maybe. I hope.

Absorb being toggleable is gonna be pretty useful, but i wonder how duration mods are gonna take an impact from the new patch.

Yeah I dunno. I think Absorb knocks down whatever it doesn't kill, though, so... Yeah. Stunlock with energy restores? I'm guessing that the toggleable abilities will still have limited durations. Banshee will still have to run Continuity because running a max power build for Sonar means you want a Rank 4 Fleeting Expertise, which in turn makes your Sonars really short unless you slap a Continuity on. As for an Energy Vampire build, this was the best I could find: goo.gl/zHfjGxAs usual, their patch notes are vague and unhelpful. For one, we don't know what "90% immunity" means. Is this duration? Damage reduction? If it's the latter, Lv200+s are still going to shave off all that health in a hit or two. So it's a new hard cap on their "endgame" level limit. If only we had an actual endgame, this might mean something.

nah there's no endgame, it's clear that this game wasn't designed for high level enemies. at least not yet.
pretty sure 90% will just mean 90% damage reduction, but that fact that you have to have 10% health for that to even occur means that blessing's protection is pretty useless. it'd be better off being a full heal with no duration or anything /_/ now i can't protect people after i heal them once lol

The fact that you will also have to run Quick Thinking + Flow to get a near-max invuln is also a big problem
It should have been an actual Blessing that buffed all stats or something, or been changed to work how Snowglobe works. Maybe. Though in that case strong enemies will tear through the barrier in no time anyway so hmm.

I need more weapon slots but I don't feel like trading my stockpile of rare mods since the trade chat is a mess.

It was that kind of dilemma that nearly discouraged me from taking this game seriously. A credit substitute (mentioned i think previously in this thread) would be a great idea. Another thing that is a little discouraging is the fact that there is no other way to get mods like Virulent scourge or other event mods. I thought it would be added into the pile (maybe put them in void missions) of mods.

the way that they are, we expect them to become nightmare rares but they still haven't put them there yet (since they affect 2 different things positively)
ugh with the upcoming change to trin i really don't know how to main. they hinted at extensive nova changes as well.
i am a little miffed at my maxed narrow minded now, but i doubt ill sell it because it's still too rare
welp flow quick thinking evampire ._. in theory i should be able to explode penta at my feet and not die right i dont have max flow or qt /_/ but i do have them , just gotta get more fusion cores i guess

I think the devs said that the event mods would be added to Nightmare missions at some point. Not sure why they haven't already done that other than that they don't want people who already own them to start complaining that their exclusivity means nothing now, etc. like what happened with the Brakk (until people realized that getting the Brakk now is way more annoying than the original "Run 100 Invasions"). The change to Banshee's silence is actually really good from what I can tell. It follows her now, and whenever the aura comes into contact with an enemy, they become briefly stunned and play the animation where they grip their head with their hands like Chaos. Could be good for escaping from Survival, defending the pod, keeping crowds on lock, etc. New Sound Quake and Absorb drain energy way too fast :/ Their initial casting cost is only 25 but the channeling cost isn't affected by efficiency mods. I hope that's fixed. New armor pieces look kinda weak. They reduced the size on various other shoulderpads like Banshee's and Frost's, so they look more like cheap plastic now. :/ - forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/231705-trinty-more-op-then-before-video-proof/cool Also the new explosive Secondary looks like the Harold from BL2.
